Beef Kushisashi

While this dish is simple to make, it's no push over on taste. The delicious recipe combines the flavors of sugar and soy sauce, ginger and garlic, green onions and beef to make a flavor that is as unique as it is appetizing. Enjoy the Japanese style beef skewers, and share the great flavor with friends or family.
Ingredient:
1/2 cup Soy Sauce 1/4 cup Green Onions (chopped) 2 tbsp Sugar 1 tbsp Oil 1 1/2 tsp Cornstarch 1 Clove Garlic (pressed) 1 tsp Ginger Root (grated) 2 1/2 lbs Boneless Beef Sirloin Steak Bamboo or Metal Skewers
Direction:
1. Blend soy sauce, green onions, sugar, oil, cornstarch, garlic and ginger in small saucepan. 2. Simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 1 minute; cool. 3. Cover and set aside. Slice beef into 1/8" thick strips about 4" long and 1" wide. 4. Thread onto bamboo or metal skewers keeping meat as flat as possible; brush both sides of beef with sauce. 5.
